The Happy Egg Co brand are renowned for their excellent values when it comes to the responsible production of eggs.

THE PROBLEM

Chances are you’ve spotted the colourful ‘The Happy Egg Co’ brand in your local supermarket because, not only are they massively visible but they’re also renowned for their excellent values when it comes to the responsible production of eggs. The company was doing well with a lot of things PR wise, but were having issues with their social media content, because although they had a lot of followers across a number of platforms, their interaction with them was low.

THE SOLUTION

As a business we carried out a full audit of their content output, social insights and follower demographics, and combined this with external data charting the shopper profile of the brand’s customer.

Armed with this information we put together a clear social media plan that focused on generating content that was both relevant and of interest to the follower. Our activities and output worked cohesively with the brand communication to both support the happy egg co and its retailer activities – becoming a ‘go to’ hub for key news and information.

RESULTS

Along with thousands more followers, interaction across all of the social media platforms increased tenfold.

Refreshed content displayed at key times, together with strategic investments in promotions, increased brand awareness that was reflected through the tills. The activities also enabled successful communication and in turn ‘take up’ of other initiatives such as the the happy egg co trail and the happy egg-heads school tour.
